I’m the host of Brekfast On The Grass, a radio show broadcasted every 4 weeks on Soho Radio all about Italian library music.

Until ’66 the only music used by Italian television producers were the library vinyl albums from BBC. From then on, a cultural revolution swept the country and a new wave of Italian composers redefined the meaning of TV music. Breakfast On The Grass is a deep dive into the golden age of Italian library music, a celebration of this uncharted industry and an examination of its unique spot at the intersection of art and commerce.

Breakfast on the Grass

In October 2019 I produced The Gatekeepers of Italian Libraries, a radio show broadcasted on RTM.FM as part of the Art Licks Weekend Radio.

The show explored the role that blogs on played in the resurgence of Italian Library Music in mid 2010. The show followed the theme of Interdependence which was the common theme that linked all events during 2019 Art Licks Weekend. The Art Licks Weekend is an annual festival that celebrates the activity of artist-led and non-profit project spaces across London; it launched in 2013 and is part of the larger organisation, Art Licks.

For its seventh year, the Art Licks Weekend (17–20 October 2019) takes on the theme of Interdependence: considering how participating projects work within a network of friendship, exchange and shared dialogue.
